Chopta Tungnath with Chandrashila 2 nights trekking tour

The Chandrashila climb, at an altitude of 12,100 feet, is one of the most suited treks for beginners, with magnificent summit views of Kedar, Chaukhamba, and the Himalayas. A visit to the sacred Tugnath temple, which is known for being the world’s tallest Shiva temple, provides a vantage point for the trek. The route to the walk passes through Rishikesh, Sari, and Chopta, with lush spots of pine, oak, and rhododendron lining the path

Chopta Package short itinerary

1st Day: Rishikesh to Chopta & Stay at Chopta(Hotel/Homestay) (Road Trip:204 KM, Time Duration: 7-8 Hour)

2nd Day: Chopta to Chadrashila & Back to Chopta (Roundtrip of Trek: 9 Km, Stay & Food at Hotel/Homestay, Time Duration: 5-6 Hour )

3rd Day: Chopta to Rishikesh (Road Trip:204 KM, Time Duration: 7-8 Hour)

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Rishikesh To Chopta (Drive-204 KM, 8 Hr)

We will start the day early morning from Rishikesh to Chopta,

from Rishikesh to Devprayag we will move along with the river Ganga. At Devaprayag you can witness the holy confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda Rivers. After Devprayag we will go along with the Alaknanda river till Gopeshwar. Gopeshwar is the district headquarter of Chamoli district, Here you can have access to good mobile networks, ATMs & a Health facility. After Gopeshwar we will take the route for Chopta which is very beautiful & covered with forest & Red Buransh trees. In the month of Feb to April, this valley is entirely covered with red color by Buransh trees. At Chopta you will stay at Hotel/ camp Dinner & Snacks will be served at Hotel/Tents

Day 02: Chopta to Chandarshila & Back to Chopta (Trek: 9 Km , 8 Hr )

We will start our journey in the early morning towards Tungnath. The trek route starts from Chopta & goes through the Tungnath Temple (highest Shiva temple in the World), Trek till Tungnath is well maintained by the Govt of Uttarakhand, the trek is quite environs amidst the alpine forests of Devdaaru, Red buransh & Oak. People can enjoy mesmerizing views of Sunset, Sunrise, Himalayan range, Monal Bird, Musk Deer, Snow Leopard, Bear, Fox, etc.

After a 3.5 Km trek, we will reach the Tungnath Temple, Which is the highest Lord Shiva temple in the World. Here we will worship Lord Shiva & stay for an hour. After an hour’s break, we will start at the summit of Chandrashila, which is again challenging for the trekkers. For this summit, you need good stamina for climbing. After an hour of hard climbing, we will reach Chandrashila top & enjoy the 360-degree views of the Himalayan range & Mountains —Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nandaghunti, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, and Kedar. Here we will stay for an hour to take lots of photographs, videos, Films, etc for the memories and social networking sites. Following the same route, we will descend to Chopta after an hour.

The downhill journey is relatively less time-consuming and smoother. It will take you about 2 hours to come down to the Chopta campsite/Hotel.

Evening tea, Snacks & Dinner will be served in Tents/Hotel

Day 03: Chopta to Rishikesh (8 Hours):

We will take the same route for the Rishikesh
